01 — MELTING
Melting Unit
Our 2021-commissioned melting unit uses electric induction furnaces to melt copper cathodes with precise composition control. The melting unit feeds directly into the continuous casting line for seamless upstream integration.

02 — CASTING
Continuous Casting
The continuous casting unit produces uniform copper billets with consistent grain structure and chemical composition. This technology significantly improves product consistency and reduces material waste in downstream operations.

03 — EXTRUSION
Hot Extrusion
Specialised hot extrusion presses convert copper billets into seamless tube hollows. This is the core process behind our seamless copper alloy tube capability — offering superior internal surface quality over welded alternatives.

04 — DRAWING
Cold Drawing & Coiling
Multi-pass cold drawing achieves precise OD and wall thickness to ±0.08mm tolerance. Our coiling lines produce Pancake Coils (PCC) and Level Wound Coils (LWC) with consistent layer winding and correct hardness of 45–60 HV5.

QUALITY CONTROL

Every Cupromet product undergoes rigorous multi-stage quality control. Interior residue is guaranteed ≤ 0.038 g/m² as required by EN12735-1 and ASTM B280. Each tube is individually end-capped after cleaning to preserve interior cleanliness standards during transit.
